The word FITOFERT is pronounced equally in Slovenia, Italy, Russia, Cyprus, Montenegro, but also in Stajkovac, Gospodginci… And everywhere it has the same meaning, that which helps the plant, and at the end of the chain, the producer. This word originates from the Serbian largest city with three letters, Niš. Because, the first ideas, modest laboratory equipment, adapted old production equipment, but incredible persistence resulted in the establishment of the company ” FERTICO ” in Niš in 2004.
Two years later, the company became part of the Agromarket Group, developing the FITOFERT brand, which combines specialized, crystalline, water-soluble fertilizers, drip systems and liquid formulations for foliar feeding of cultivated plants. Today, 16 years later, FITOFERT represents the first domestic brand in the category of water-soluble, specialized fertilizers and soil improvers.
Along with the production of various formulations for both professional farmers and hobbyists, the company “FERTICO” has also developed the so-called Garden Hobby program of specialized fertilizers for use in floriculture and horticulture.
Large markets demand large capacities, and this resulted in a new production facility in Indjija, with a capacity of 70 tons of crystal fertilizers and 30,000 liters of liquid formulations per day. The company’s new plant for the production of plant nutrition represents the sublimation of fifteen years of experience and modern trends in intensive plant production technologies. New formulations, in which chemical, organic and biological components are integrated, will represent the future of plant nutrition and at the same time will impose new norms in long-term soil conservation, reduction of groundwater contamination and reduction of CO2 emissions.
The production facility is designed to meet the highest standards in the formulation process, high packaging capacity and quality control. The production plant of our factory has exceptional development potential, which is reflected in highly educated, narrowly specialized and enthusiastic employees, as well as modern equipment.
Investing in innovative technology and modern production facilities highlights our desire to grow and develop, but also our goal for the development and modernization of agricultural production processes in Serbia, and this implies the increasing use of digital platforms and software intended for professional agricultural production, from this year they are also available in our country. The software created as a result of domestic intelligence is used to precisely calculate the required amount of fertilizer according to the growth phenophases of cultivated crops, because it is the basis of proper and timely plant nutrition that results in crop, quality and profitability.
Of course, a product without the human factor is nothing. And it is precisely on this that the success that the FITOFERT brand brings to all markets where it appears is based. The development of the AgroService service, which, together with the Professional Service and the Sales Service of the Agromarket company, represents the most professional, numerous and well-equipped service in the exYU area.
